Obituary: Judy Robinson Hamby – Bolivar, Tennessee
Judy Robinson Hamby, 62, of Bolivar, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, at her home. Born in Jackson, Tennessee, Mrs. Hamby was the daughter of Fred and Barbara Robinson. She was a lifelong resident of Bolivar and worked for Bolivar Energy Authority for 24 years in administration prior to her retirement. She was a member of Bolivar First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Hamby loved animals of all kinds and was an avid horse lover. She loved riding in the annual Ames Plantation Field Trials.
She leaves her mother, Barbara Robinson; her brother and sister-in-law Doug and Reva Robinson; a niece, Megan Smith and husband Allen, and their children Mia,
Rowen and Reed; and a nephew, Matthew Robinson and wife Susan, and their daughter, Emma.
Mrs. Hamby was preceded in death by her father, Fred Robinson, and her husband, Mitch Hamby.
Funeral services are on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Shackelford’s Bolivar chapel with Mark Templeton officiating. She will be buried in the Bolivar Memorial Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
