Two Arrested at Bolivar Central High School Season Opener Basketball Game

Bolivar Central High School kicked off its basketball season with a home game against Haywood High School on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. According to preliminary information, a fight broke out between two male subjects and two female subjects, all from Brownsville, Tennessee. The altercation allegedly stemmed from a dispute that originated between the subjects in Brownsville prior to the game.

As a precautionary measure, the remainder of the game was canceled. The Bolivar Police Department and Hardeman County Sheriffs office responded and arrested Jadian Callaway, age 19, and James Houston, age 35, both from Brownsville. They were transported to the Hardeman County Criminal Justice Complex. No one from Bolivar was involved in this incident.
