Aeneas Celebrates Milestone Enrollment
Last summer, Bolivar Energy Authority (BEA) and Aeneas announced their partnership to build and expand a Gigabit fiber network to bring broadband communications to the BEA service area.
On Friday, the community came out to join in celebrating the enrollment of 2,000 customers on the Aeneas+Bolivar Fiber network with the team that made it all possible. Guests enjoyed complimentary refreshments and a smart TV raffle during the celebration.
“It’s very fulfilling to be able to bring broadband gigabit services to rural west Tennessee where we all live and to have the same amenities as those that live in Nashville and Memphis. You have state of the art connectivity being built in your backyard,” shared Aeneas CEO Stephen Thorpe.
Together BEA and Aeneas will expand broadband service to over 15,000 rural homes and businesses in Hardeman County and its surrounding counties.
Hardeman County residents interested in receiving broadband Internet from Aeneas are encouraged to sign up at www.fiber.aeneas.com or call Aeneas directly at (731) 554-9200 and choose option 1 to place an order and get your account started.
