Almost 2,000 Hardeman County Voters Chose to Vote Early

Nearly 2,000 Hardeman County voters came out and participated in early voting for the State and Federal Primary, State and County General Election, and Town of Whiteville Municipal Election, which ran Friday, July 12 through Saturday, July 27, 2024.

Of the 1,928 early voters, 805 voted in the Republican Primary and 1,070 voted in the Democratic Primary, which left 53 voters who chose not to vote in either primary. The numbers from early voting include in-person early voters, absentee by-mail ballots submitted by voters, and voters at licensed facilities.

The first day of early voting brought out 220 voters, the highest number of any day, while Saturday, July 13, 2024, was the slowest day with only 47 ballots cast.

The polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, Thursday, August 1, 2024. You may see the full sample ballot and read more about the election here.
