Arts Council Brings Disney Frozen Jr. to Its Stage for Christmas
It has been more than 10 years since Frozen was first released encouraging people to “Let It Go”. Since that time, fans of the Disney production have done just the opposite and continue to embrace the Disney story’s favorite sisters, Anna and Elsa. The Hardeman County Arts Council (HCAC) will bring the beloved production to its stage with Disney Frozen Jr., which will be presented Friday through Sunday, December 13 – 15, 2024.
Disney Frozen Jr. has a cast of children to late teens. The HCAC often includes children productions in its seasons giving area youth an opportunity to display their acting and singing talent on the stage. Abigail Richards, who played Fiona in the HCAC production of Shrek The Musical JR., has been cast as Elsa and Rebekah Stanifer, who is making her HCAC stage debut, has been cast as Anna. Both girls have appeared in numerous productions with the Star, Inc, theatre company in Somerville. Their younger counterparts are being played by Jovie Wade (also Hidden Folk), Young Elsa, and Adeline Estes (also Snow Chorus and Summer Chorus), Young Anna.

Reece McMahan (Hans)
Tucker Mullen (Olaf)

The cast has been in rehearsals since late September and is excited to present a production displaying their hard work and talent.
Also coming to the HCAC for the Christmas season is Christmas with Elvis starring Brian Lee Howell and his 5-Piece Showband on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 each (booking fee applies) and may be purchased online now for both productions and at the box office next week December 9 – 13, 2024, during the following times:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The HCAC box office will also be open one hour before each performance.
