Beta Sigma Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International (DKG) Announces Essay Contest Winners

Beta Sigma Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International (DKG) sponsored a high school essay contest this year as part of the chapter’s literacy initiative. High school students in Hardeman County were invited to write a 450-600 word essay on the positive and negative impacts of artificial intelligence (A.I.) on daily life.

The winners of the essay contest were Shavon Chism, a senior at Bolivar Central High School, who won First Place and $75.

Emma Howell, a freshman at Middleton High School, won Second Place and $50. Sean Gross, a sophomore at Middleton High School, won Third Place and $25.

Their winning essays were submitted to the state level contest for the chance to win further prize money.
