Bolivar Councilman Larry Crawford resigned at the March meeting of the Bolivar City Council due to him moving out of the district.

“It’s been a pleasure to serve the citizens of Bolivar and work with the Council,” commented Mr. Crawford.

The council members are not expected to appoint a replacement as Crawford’s seat is up for election on May 16, 2023. Chris Williams is the only candidate that petitioned to be on the May ballot to run for Crawford’s position. You may read more about Chris Williams here.

The Bolivar City Council meets on the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. in the council chambers at the Bolivar Municipal Center.
