Bolivar Energy Authority Reporting Significant Power Outages

Bolivar Energy Authority has reported today’s severe weather and high winds have caused significant power outages in homes and businesses throughout the county.

There are currently customers without power and outages in both Tennessee and Mississippi. Areas affected include:

Tennessee – Bolivar, Grand Junction, Henderson, Hornsby, La Grange, Medon, Mercer, Middleton, Moscow, Saulsbury, Silerton, Toone, and Whiteville

Mississippi – Ashland, and Faulkner

Crews are working to restore service to everyone as quickly and safely as possible.

If you see a downed line or are experiencing an outage, call Bolivar Energy Authority at (731) 658-5357. They are currently experiencing a high call volume.

Stay as far away as possible from downed power lines. They may be energized and are extremely dangerous.
