Bolivar-Hardeman County Library Celebrates Summer Reading Program Participants

On Thursday, July 31, 2025, the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library closed its annual Summer Reading program with a celebration of participating students. The theme this year was Color Our World and all participants received a Certificate of Achievement. Nine of those students earned top recognition in three divisions as top readers in the summer program.

The three divisions were Teen, Kids, and Pre-K.

Teen Division Winners: Hannah Gibson, 1st Place; Anne Needham, 2nd Place; and Catherine Gibson, 3rd Place

Kids Division Winners: Cassie Pulse, 1st Place; Maya Taylor, 2nd Place; and Joelie Pulse, 3rd Place

PreK Division Winners: Wylder Estes, 1st Place; Freedom De La Cruz, 2nd Place; and Lily Grace Morin, 3rd Place

The Bolivar-Hardeman County Library held a kick off event in June for the Color Our World Summer Reading program, which was open to anyone who wanted to read. Readers were to keep track of their progress through Saturday, July 26, 2025. The goal was to get people of all ages to read.
