Bolivar-Hardeman County NAACP Youth Council Honors Graduating Seniors

On Thursday, July 31, 2025,the Bolivar-Hardeman County NAACP Youth Council proudly celebrated four outstanding seniors who are moving forward in their educational journeys. The send-off celebration was held in their honor, where each graduate received an achievement award recognizing their dedication and accomplishments.

The event was marked with joy, cake, and ice cream, as family, friends, and supporters gathered to show their support. Mrs. Dixie Spencer, President of the Bolivar-Hardeman County NAACP, offered heartfelt words of encouragement to the graduates, inspiring them as they prepare to take on new challenges and opportunities.

The Youth Council graduates and their college destinations are as follows:

  • Kabrilya Higgs, Youth Council President – Alabama A&M University (Huntsville, Alabama)
  • Jada Turner, Youth Council Vice President – Middle Tennessee State University (Murfreesboro, Tennessee)
  • Jade James, Youth Council Member – Jackson State Community College (Jackson, Tennessee)
  • Tamaya Turner, Youth Council Member – Austin Peay State University (Clarksville, Tennessee)
