Bolivar Police Department Investigating Two Shootings

Authorities in Bolivar, Tennessee, are investigating two separate shootings that occurred on March 26, 2025. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in either incident.
The first shooting took place in the afternoon on East Jackson Street. Law enforcement swiftly identified a suspect, who was later apprehended in Milan with the assistance of the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Jackson Police Department, and Madison County Sheriff’s Department. The suspect is currently in custody, and an investigation into the motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting are ongoing.
The second shooting, occurred at a different location, at approximately 10:55 p.m. and remains under investigation. Officials have not indicated any connection between the two incidents.
