Bolivar’s Kyndle Wylde Wins CBS Mornings Mixtape Music Competition

And, the winner of the CBS Mornings Mixtape Music Competition is . . . Bolivar, Tennessee’s own Kyndle Wylde. Her soulful rendition of Johnny Nash’s hit song “I Can See Clearly Now” catapulted her past several contestants from across the country.

In August, Kyndle found herself one of 14 semifinalists chosen to continue in competition for the winning title. People everywhere were able to vote three times a day through Tuesday, August 13, 2024, for their semifinalist pick. Voters included Hardeman County fans, who Kyndle thanked for their “constant, unwavering support”. The votes Kyndle received through that Tuesday made her one of three finalists, and it was officially announced on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, she was the winner.
