Brad Grantham Announces Intent to Run for Mayor

Hardeman County Commissioner Brad Grantham expressed his interest in running for Hardeman County Mayor in the 2026 election when he picked up a petition on Wednesday. Grantham has served as a Hardeman County Commissioner in District 1 (Bolivar) since 2022. He currently serves on the Airport Committee, the Beer Board, the Historical Committee, and the Solid Waste Committee.
Grantham said he will run as a Republican candidate. At this time, petitions for the mayor’s race have also been picked up by Democrat incumbent Todd Pulse, Republican candidate Greg Bennett, and independent candidate Christopher Cox.
32 Hardeman County positions will be up for election in 2026. The County Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, and the General Election will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
To start the process of becoming a candidate, you must first pick up a petition from the Hardeman County Election Commission at 227 Lucy Black Road, Bolivar, Tennessee 38008. Then you must obtain at least 25 valid signatures of registered voters in the district where you are running.
The Qualifying Petition must be returned to the Hardeman County Election Commission no later than Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 12 p.m.
