Carl Perkins Exchange Club Hosts Christmas in July

The Hardeman County Carl Perkins Exchange Club for the Prevention of Child Abuse is hosting a Christmas in July event on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to kick off the Festival of Trees event in December. Through the free Christmas in July event, the center hopes to bring awareness to the Carl Perkins Center, grow the number of trees that are decorated, and increase donations received from the annual festival.

Christmas in July will be held at The Columns, which will be decorated for Christmas to get guests in the spirit of the occasion. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served and Carl Perkins Center board members will be available to answer questions about the center, its cause, and how people can support the festival. Attire is casual.

The Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse relies on donations from their community to fund their services to the children and families affected by child abuse.

Attendees of Christmas in July will be able to register for the Festival of Trees, which opens Saturday, December 7, 2024, and also make donations.
