Chamber Awards Local Businesses at Banquet
The Hardeman County Chamber of Commerce turned back the clock to the sensational 1950s era of Rock ‘n Roll for its Shake, Rattle, and Roll 2023 Chamber Awards Banquet at the Hardeman County Golf and Country Club on Saturday, September 16, 2023.
Chamber members and guests dusted off their poodle skirts, “slicked back their hair”, and enjoyed a delicious dinner provided by Mac’s Cruzin Cuisine. They were able to rock the night away with entertainment provided by Small Shack.
Sponsors of the event decorated tables in 1950s theme while sharing about their businesses with promotional items and product samples. Attendees captured memories of the evening with a commemorative photo.
The featured event of the night was the recognition of local businesses in the community. The following awards were given:
- New Member of the Year – Bill’s Flowers
- Good Neighbor Award – Southern Express Pharmacy
- Nonprofit of the Year – Bolivar-Hardeman County Library
- Helping Hands of the Year – Bolivar General Hospital
- Exceptional Business of the Year – Aeneas Internet & Telephone
- Platinum Investors – The City of Bolivar, Hardeman County Government, and Bolivar Energy Authority
