Christmas in the Shadows Christmas sermon series will continue at Porters Creek Baptist Church { 5120 Pea Vine Road Middleton 38052 } every Sunday in the month of December at 11 a.m.
First Metropolitan Financial {1700 West Market Street, Suite D, Bolivar, 38008} is holding a Toys for Tots Toy Drive through Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Please bring new, unwrapped toys and be entered in a raffle drawing for a chance to win a $500 gift card.
Hope Holiday Mart is selling takeout chicken ($25) and steak ($30) dinner plates to raise money for the Hope House. Plate pick up is on Friday, December 5, 2025. You may call or text Andrea Young at (731) 609-9250 to place your order by Monday, December 1, 2025.
Lights on the Lake {14495 US-64, Bolivar 38008} will be held at Sand Beach Lake from Thursday and Friday, December 4 – 5, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday through Saturday, December 11 -13, 18-20, and 25-27, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Entry is free and donations are accepted.
Markowski Christmas Lights {1675 Coburn Road Brownsville, 38012 – worth the drive} will shine brightly every single night through the end of the year. The drive through is free and donations are accepted.

Centennial Bank is holding a Christmas Open House {411 West Market Street, Bolivar, 38008} from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Grand Junction is holding a Christmas Tree Lighting at the Old City Hall {150 Tippah Street, Grand Junction, 38039} at 6 p.m. Free hot chocolate will be served. There will also be homemade goodies, Santa games, catfish plates, and more. Festivities will be held at the Wilder Center.
Merry Movie Nights free featurettes will be held at the Luez Theater { 219 North Main Street, Bolivar 38008} at 5:30 p.m. Featured movie is Frosty’s Winter Wonderland.

Hope Holiday Mart is an event featuring over 40 vendors of crafters, artisans, and food. Proceeds from booth and food sales benefit Hope House for Homeless &/or Abused women & their children along with The Carl Perkins Center. The Hope Holiday Mart will be held in the Wheeler building from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Hooves Hounds Hariballs is hosting Santa Paws is Coming to Town {210 Stevens Road, Bolivar, 38008}, a photo with Santa Paws experience, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event benefits the Hardeman Adoptable Animals. Call Jess at (731) 433-7319 to make an appointment.
Jackson Theatre Guild presents A Christmas Carol at The Ned {314 East Main Street, Jackson, 38301} at 2 p.m.
The Town of Somerville Christmas Parade will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Town of Somerville Square { 1 Court Square, Somerville. Santa visits { 13085 North Main Street, Somerville 38068 } are from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
City of Bolivar’s Small Town, Big Christmas will be held around the Historic Court Square and at the Farmers Market from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. People may enjoy balloon artists, carriage rides, face painting, ice skating, live music, miniature golf, train rides, Pictures with Santa from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and much more!
City of Bolivar will hold its annual Christmas parade at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a Tree Lighting and Kickoff Party at 6 p.m. The Grand Marshall is Dr. Jerry Wilhite.

Mayor Julian McTizic’s Merry Birthday Toy Drive will be held at Bolivar City Hall {211 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008} from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy to help brighten Christmas for children in our community.
Bolivar Holiday Pop Ups { 200 South Main Street, Bolivar 38008 – Old Wheeler building } will be held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. It is an event featuring vendors of crafters, artisans, and food. Proceeds from booth and food sales benefit Hope House for Homeless &/or Abused women & their children along with The Carl Perkins Center.
City of Middleton will light its Christmas tree at City Hall at 5 p.m. The Middleton High School Band will perform and complimentary cookies, hot cocoa, coffee, and apple cider will be served.
