City of Bolivar Decides to Close Pool for Summer 2025
On Thursday, May 29, 2025, the City of Bolivar announced on its Facebook page the closure for the 2025 summer season of the City Pool. The news brings an end of tradition for many families who excitedly and regularly use the pool each summer. Despite the “best efforts” of the City, obstacles have made it impossible for the pool to open this year.
The closure, a “decision not made lightly”, is blamed on mechanical issues, which are currently said to be beyond repair. The City of Bolivar stated it is working to rectify the issues and “exploring long-term solutions”.
