DCS Worker Accused of Soliciting Underage Girl

The Bolivar Police Department has released details of an undercover operation with the Jackson Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Task Force that occurred on March 7, 2023.

On March 2, 2023, a juvenile female discovered a strange note on her vehicle at a local business in Bolivar, Tennessee. The juvenile and her parents reported the incident to the Bolivar Police Department, who initiated an investigation.  

During the investigation, the Bolivar Police Department reached out to the Jackson Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force for assistance. During an undercover operation on March 7, 2023, the suspect met who he thought was an underage girl, with the intention of having sex with her at an undisclosed location in Jackson, Tennessee. As a result of the investigation, Christopher Baker, a 50-year-old male, and an employee of the State of Tennessee Department of Children’s Services, was arrested by the Jackson Police Department. Baker was charged with Solicitation of a Minor.
