The Democratic Party of Hardeman County held a fundraiser dinner on Saturday, September 10, 2022, with Democratic Governor Nominee Dr. Jason Martin as the keynote speaker for the event.

Martin won the party’s nomination in the August State Primary Election when he ran against Carnita Faye Atwater and JB Smiley Jr.

Attendees listened closely as Martin addressed his position on topics such as healthcare, education, women’s rights, gun control, and cannabis. Voters will see Dr. Jason Martin’s name again on the November 8, 2022, ballot where he will challenge Tennessee’s incumbent Governor Bill Lee.
