Disc Golf Tournament to be Held in Bolivar This Weekend

The first annual disc golf tournament, to be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Pleasant Run Creek Park is one of both fun and fundraising. The Fall Fling disc golf tournament is using both the current 9-hole offering and a pop-up back 9-hole course curated by the event committee. The tournament will consist of two rounds of 18 holes on the course. The hope of the committee is to raise funds to make the temporary 9-holes a permanent installation at Pleasant Run Creek Park in Bolivar. There are three categories of play one can register for including intermediate, recreational, and women’s. Prizes will be awarded to winners in each category as well as prizes for two CTP’s or “closest to the pin”. There is also a cash prize for anyone who throws a hole-in-one during the tournament. The forecasted weather looks great for this tournament date, so get registered today on discgolfscene.com.
