Train Derails at Hardeman/McNairy Line
A 75 railcar Norfolk Southern train has derailed at the Hardeman/McNairy county line in the Pocahontas area. It is estimated 15 railcars left the track in the derailment. At this time, there are no known injuries and no hazardous spills. The derailment is in a wooded swampy area east of the Hatchie River, far off any main roads.
