Election Commission Certifies August 1 Election Results
The recent Hardeman County election results have been certified and are now official.
The Election Commission met on Friday, August 16th to certify the election results for the August 1, 2024, State and Federal Primary, State and County General Election, and Town of Whiteville Municipal election. Election results may be found here.
Commissioners Carl Gibson, James Hicks, Sharolyn Mitchell, and Donald Young, along with Administrator Amber Moore were present for the meeting. Commissioner Joan Henderson was absent.
Commission members are now preparing for the Tuesday, November 5, 2024, election.
Early voting starts Wednesday, October 16, 2024, and ends Thursday, October 31, 2024. Early voting hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
