Elizabeth Stevens Announces Candidacy for Register of Deeds

I am pleased to announce my candidacy for Register of Deeds.

I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Business Administration and later earned my Master’s degree from Freed-Hardeman University, along with 30 hours toward a PhD.

For 28 years, I have proudly served in the Hardeman County School System. Throughout my career, I have been responsible for recording, preserving, maintaining, and updating critical data and records for the county and the state. These skills are directly aligned with the responsibilities of the Register of Deeds office.

Each day, I analyze, input, collect, and digitally store data with accuracy and accountability. I adapt to ever-changing technology, process information efficiently, and ensure that records are secure, accurate, accessible, and properly maintained. My commitment to excellence has earned me the highest level of job performance awarded by the State of Tennessee.

The Register of Deeds office requires precision, integrity, technological competence, and dedication to public service. My background in business administration, education, record management, and digital data systems has prepared me to serve our community efficiently and responsibly.

I am committed to:

• Maintaining accurate and secure public records
• Ensuring efficient and timely service
• Utilizing technology to improve accessibility
• Serving with professionalism and transparency

I respectfully ask for your support and vote in the Hardeman County May primary. Together, we can ensure that the Register of Deeds office continues to operate with integrity, efficiency, and excellence.

Thank you,

Elizabeth Stevens
