One Night Only, “Elvis” is Bringing Christmas to Bolivar

Hardeman County’s own Brian Lee Howell is bringing his five-piece show band to the Hardeman County Arts Council (HCAC) for “An ELVIS Kind of Christmas” that will be presented on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 7 p.m.

Howell is no stranger to the stage and has been a fulltime Elvis impersonator for the past 17 years. Along with talent through song, Howell has a good sense of humor to go along with his performances, so it will be a full night of entertainment.

The “An ELVIS Kind of Christmas” will be a great treat for the audience as this will be the first time Howell and his band have performed together in Hardeman County.

“I am looking forward to performing this Christmas show for the first time in Bolivar with my own band. They are an awesome group of very talented guys, and I am honored to call them my friends as well,” said Howell. “I will be doing a mixture of Elvis’ Christmas hits along with a few regular songs thrown in the mix. I may even do an outfit change, who knows?”

Howell and his band will perform more than 25 songs that include some of Elvis’ biggest hits and Christmas classics. Some familiar songs you will enjoy include “Blue Christmas”, “Silver Bells”, “Here Comes Santa Claus”, “Hound Dog”, “Suspicious Minds”, and so many more.

“I’ve wanted to do this for some time now and I thank the Hardeman County Arts Council and sponsors so much for allowing me to make it a reality this year,” said Howell. “I am hoping the show gets sold out and that people come out to see me and my band for our first ever Christmas show in Hardeman County. Merry Christmas everyone!”

“An ELVIS Kind of Christmas” is a holiday concert event for the entire family. Tickets are $12 each and available online or at the door.

“An ELVIS Kind of Christmas” is sponsored by DevCo, Vaughan Oil Company, Bolivar Insurance and Real Estate, and Bolivar Credit.
