Fair Theatre Holds Auditions for Its Next Production

Star Inc. in Somerville keeps its theatrical productions coming with auditions for its May 2023 show of The Play That Goes Wrong, written by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields. Auditions will be held on Friday and Saturday, February 3 and 4, 2023, at the Fair Theatre in Somerville.

The Play That Goes Wrong will be directed by Thomas Farmer, who last brought the sell out production of Broadway Nights to the Fair Theatre stage.

A cast of six males, two females, and four to six stage crew, ages 16 years and older {see character list} are needed. People interested in auditioning for stage roles are asked to be prepared for a cold read of sections of the script and do some simple improv. You will only need to audition once on Friday or Saturday. There will be a mandatory call back on Monday, February 6, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. for those who are selected to return for consideration. Although a resume is not required, please bring it to the auditions if you have one.

The production dates are Friday through Sunday, May 5 – 7 and 12 – 14, 2023.
