First Aid/CPR/AED Certification and Narcan Training to be Offered in Bolivar
A CPR and AED training and certification and First Aid and Narcan training class is being hosted by Homeschool Roster and Hardeman County Homeschoolers at the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The class follows the American Heart Association instruction and will be taught by a fireman who is a certified emergency medical responder.
Being First Aid/CPR/AED certified can be helpful for personal education and/or recertification as well as job proficiency – lifeguard , baby sitter, basic job requirement (ex: OSHA), badges (ex: Trail Life, Boy Scouts, Heritage Girls, etc.). This training and certification will also benefit your family, enable you to aid in a crisis and have the knowledge to save a life.
Seventh grade students through adults may attend the class. Students must be able to manage the physical aspect (ex: lifting victim, chest compressions, etc.) of the class as well as comprehend the material. The class is open to students (homeschool, public school, and private school) as well as to all community members.
Registration is $65. Upon the successful completion of the class, students will receive two year CPR and AED certifications.
