Free Lunch-N-Learn Gardening Series Coming to Bolivar

The UT-Extension Institute of Agriculture and TSU Cooperative Extension are partnering and bringing a Lunch-N-Learn Gardening Series to the Hardeman County Extension Office in August. It will be a fantastic lineup of horticulture speakers for you to hear and learn about gardening in West Tennessee. Grab your lunch and come out for a month of garden education.
The Lunch-n-Learn series will be held on Wednesdays at 12 p.m. and door prizes will be given away at every session.
The weekly August schedule includes:
August 6, 2025 – Beginner Gardening
Presented by Sydney Smith (Fayette County) – Horticulture Extension Agent
August 13, 2025 – Common Garden Questions: Pest & Disease
Presented by Celeste Scott – Western Region Horticulture Specialist
August 20, 2025 – Garden Sprayers 101
Presented by Clint Plunk (Hardeman County) – Ag Extension Agent
August 27, 2025 – TN Smart Yards / Master Gardener Program Presented by Rachel Howell (Hardeman County) – Horticulture Extension Agent
