Girl Talk class to be held at UT Extension in April

Ut Extension, Bolivar, TN –

Calling all Moms of Girls 9-12 years old! These are trying times for parents – especially parents of preteens. Children 9 to 15 are at an age where they are trying to understand what is happening to their bodies, what values to follow and how to respond to the constant messages surrounding them. This is why the Girl Talk Program was created. Children and teenagers need accurate and caring information. The truth is that your children need and want to learn about values, their bodies, life and responsibility from their first and most important educator: you. Your child can benefit from your experiences and learn from your values. We hope this program helps to create more open dialogue between you and your pre-teen.
