Gracie Doyle One Step Closer to Career Goal After Graduating From Freed-Hardeman University

Toone’s Gracie Doyle was one of 274 students who graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Freed-Hardeman University (FHU) on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Graduating Summa Cum Laude, Gracie received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Missions.

Gracie enjoyed her academic experience while at FHU. In October 2023, she was one of 25 students inducted into the Iota Chapter of Alpha Chi National Honor Scholarship Society with at least a 3.9 GPA.

“I was able to be involved in many academic things that looked amazing on graduate school applications. I participated in the Alpha Chi National Honors Society and in our NSSHLA group for my major,” said Gracie, who shared more about what she liked about being an FHU Lion. “I loved the Christ-centered aspect of Freed-Hardeman. I have grown so much spiritually over the last three years, and Freed-Hardeman played a huge role in that.”

It was not too long ago that Gracie graduated from Bolivar Central High School in 2021. She took dual enrollment courses while a student at BCHS, and increased her course load while at FHU, paving the way for her to graduate one year early from the university. At that pace, she is now able to continue with her studies at the graduate level towards her career goal.

“I am going to Harding University in August to obtain my master’s degree in speech pathology,” said Gracie. “I am looking forward to moving to Arkansas and taking the next step of accomplishing my goal of being a pediatric speech pathologist. I’m super excited to be able to serve others through the field I love!”

Gracie Doyle is the daughter of Steven and Andreia Doyle of Toone, Tennessee.
