HAA Giveaway Promotes Responsible Pet Ownership

The Hardeman County Adoptable Animals (HAA) is offering a promotion, which it hopes will continue its effort in promoting responsible pet ownership, by giving away $500 gift cards to two lucky winners. Between now and November 30, 2025, any Hardeman County resident who has their dog or cat spayed or neutered at Old Hatchie Veterinary Clinic in Bolivar has a chance to win a $500 Visa gift card from the HAA.

“Because of the money raised at the Denim & Diamonds fundraiser, we’ll give two lucky pet owners a $500 gift card they can spend on anything they like. This promotion is not a reimbursement. It’s a reward for doing the responsible thing,” said Ms. Cindy Hamrick.

The HAA held a Denim & Diamonds diner and dance fundraiser on Saturday, August 16, 2025. The event, which sold out, raised funds to go towards supporting the homeless dogs in the shelter with medical care, dog food, cleaning supplies, and general maintenance. A portion of the proceeds will also go to Kitten Kapers, the HAA’s partner in rehoming homeless cats.

Do the right thing as a responsible pet owner and spay or neuter your pet. You just might be rewarded with a $500 gift card.
