HAA Pet of the Week: Meet Bucky

Bucky was a stray taken in by a good Samaritan. He was roaming and was extremely thin and weak. They took him in and have put some weight on him and have him feeling good. He is now ready to find the perfect home.

Bucky lives in a foster home with other dogs. He actively interacts with the females and would with the male, but the resident dog says “no”.

He is a housebroken gentleman. Bucky isn’t barky, and hangs out all day calmly. He is heartworm positive and has started on slow kill. Even being positive, he is asymptomatic. He is vaccinated and will be neutered before adoption. Bucky would be a fantastic addition to any household.

Hardeman Adoptable Animals (HAA)
315 Clifft Road, Bolivar, Tennessee 38008 or call (731) 234-4421.

All adoption donations include rabies shot, spay/neuter, and core vaccinations. The shelter does not have cats, so we typically do not know how the dogs are with cats. All breeds are guesses. If the dog is heartworm positive, the shelter will provide treatment once the dog is in your home. Please e-mail the HAA at haa.shelter@gmail.com for an application or stop by the shelter during open hours. Thank you for considering giving a rescue dog a new life!
