HAA Pet of the Week: Meet Darlin

Originally published October 29, 2022

Meet Darlin! Including being adorable, Darlin has the personality to match and loves to snuggle! With her love of kisses and ability to make everyone smile, she has been a shelter favorite. Quiet day on the couch? Fun day outside? Darlin is ready for it all. She would love a home to curl up in this winter, and will provide plenty of warmth on the cold nights!

My name isn’t just a name – it’s a lifestyle! I’m the lovebug you’ve been dreaming of, with dreams of my own about this magical place called a home. Can you believe there’s a thing called a couch? I’ve heard it’s pretty comfy, but I bet it’s even cozier with me on it. Just imagine: my luxurious gray velvet fur and those ears that could win a cuteness contest – a match made in home heaven!

I love kids, but let’s be real – I might not always grasp the concept of size and speed. So, a home with older kids who get my fabulous vibe would be perfect. And speaking of perfection, I’m on the lookout for a home with a four-legged friend – a brother dog to share in the chaos and laughter.

Sure, I can be a tad shy at first, and I might throw in some barking theatrics, but give me a few minutes, and I’ll turn on the charm. Cuddling is my superpower, and I can’t wait to unleash it on my new family. Ready to spice up your home with a dash of charm, a sprinkle of humor, and a whole lot of adorable? Let’s kick off this epic journey together!

If you would like to adopt Darlin or another pet, please complete the application form.

Hardeman Adoptable Animals (HAA)
315 Clifft Road, Bolivar, Tennessee 38008 or call
(731) 234-4421

All adoption donations include rabies shot, spay/neuter, and core vaccinations. The shelter does not have cats, so we typically do not know how the dogs are with cats. All breeds are guesses. If the dog is heartworm positive, the shelter will provide treatment once the dog is in your home. Please e-mail the HAA at haa.shelter@gmail.com for an application or stop by the shelter during open hours. Thank you for considering giving a rescue dog a new life!
