HAA Pet of the Week: Meet Vera
Vera is a sweet girl, and a terrier mix that is about three years old and weighs approximately 40 pounds. She came to the shelter with two other dogs. The other two have both left the shelter, but Vera has not. Now it is Vera’s turn to find a home!
Vera has lived a tough life. She was used for breeding and had multiple litters throughout her years. Vera was kept on concrete in a small area so her legs can be weak and they have sores on them that have not healed at the shelter.
Vera is timid with new people, but warms up with treats and when spoken to nicely. This darling girl needs a new chance for a better life.

Hardeman Adoptable Animals (HAA)
315 Clifft Road, Bolivar, Tennessee 38008 or call (731) 234-4421.
All adoption donations include rabies shot, spay/neuter, and core vaccinations. The shelter does not have cats, so we typically do not know how the dogs are with cats. All breeds are guesses. If the dog is heartworm positive, the shelter will provide treatment once the dog is in your home. Please e-mail the HAA at haa.shelter@gmail.com for an application or stop by the shelter during open hours. Thank you for considering giving a rescue dog a new life!
