Hardeman County Board of Education Meeting – June 2023

The Hardeman County Board of Education met for its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, June 8, 2023.

Some of the agenda items included:

Director of Schools Evaluation
Policy Discussion- including cell phone use in school and corporal punishment. These items will be addressed again during the July meeting.
A student’s fees related to Chromebook replacements
Capital improvement projects
Personnel update
Budget and Transportation Committee reports- including a four percent pay increase for all full time employees or a four percent bonus for those making over $65,000 a year. {read more about teacher pay increases here}
