Hardeman County Democratic Party Holding Reorganization Convention


(Bolivar, Tenn.) The Hardeman County Democratic Party will hold a biennial reorganization convention to elect new leaders on Saturday, March 22, 2025. The meeting will take place at the Whiteville Community Center {151 West Main Street, Whiteville, Tennessee 38075}. Doors open for registration at 10 a.m. Convention call to order is promptly at 11 a.m.

Local Democrats will elect a Chair, Vice-chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Committee members from each of the county commission districts for a two-year term. All Democrats who are residents of and who are registered voters of Hardeman County are urged to attend. During the Convention, the voting delegation will adopt County Party by-laws and elect new leadership.

Attendees should arrive early to complete credentialing forms and be admitted before 11 a.m. when the convention will begin. Participants are asked to provide ID and proof of voter registration. Light refreshments will be served and there will be a brief meeting after the convention adjourns to discuss the party’s agenda and events for 2025-2026.
