Hardeman County Egg Hunts and Easter Activities

Easter will be celebrated on Sunday, April 20, 2025, this year. Below you may find a listing of area activities to help celebrate the special season. If you know of more area activities that are free, please e-mail them to news@hatchiepress.com.
A Community Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Middleton City Park with registration starting at 10 a.m. The free event is for children sixth grade and below. Door Prizes will be given away, which includes a four-pack of Dollywood tickets. The event is sponsored by Porters Creek Baptist Church.
Middleton Library will hold an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 11 a.m. Donations of candy and eggs are greatly appreciated! Please drop off eggs and candy at the Middleton Library, 110 Bolton Avenue in Middleton.
The Way: Resurrection Day will be held Thursday through Saturday, March 27 – 29, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the old Fred’s Building, 105 Tennessee Street, Bolivar, 38008.
Lee Ola Roberts Library in Whiteville will host its Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, April 18, 2025, at 12 p.m. Ages 12 and under may hunt eggs and ages 13 and older may hide eggs!
2ND Annual McGowan Foundation Easter Egg Hunt Event will be held at Whiteville City Park {144 East Main Street, Whiteville 38075} on Saturday, April 19, 2025. from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cash prizes will be awarded for the Gold, Silver, and Bronze eggs. Also, fun prizes will be given away and complimentary sack lunches will be provided.
Bolivar Community Wide Egg Hunt will be held at the Lions Club Fields ballpark on Highway 64 on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 10 a.m. Babies through fifth grade may come out and enjoy hunting for eggs. The event is sponsored by Bolivar First Baptist Church.
