Hardeman County Harvest Festivals & Trunk-or-Treats
Lots of candy can be found this month at harvest festivals and trunk-or-treats being held across the county. Make plans to attend one (or as many as you can, your kids will love you) this month. SUNDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2025
Porter Creek Baptist Church {5120 Peavine Road, Middleton, 38052} is holding a Fall Festival from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be bouncy houses, games, hayrides, and pony rides. Food served will be chili and hotdogs, snow cones, popcorn and nachos, and a lot of candy. The event is free.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2025
Stockdale’s Howl-o-ween Pet Costume Contest will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Stop by the store {1675 West Market Street, Bolivar, 38008} and have your pet’s picture taken by a Stockdale’s team member. All pictures will be shared on the Facebook. The pet that receives the most reactions will receive a $25 Stockdale’s gift card and be placed in a drawing to win a $250 Stockdale’s gift card. Voting opens on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 12 p.m. CST and closes on Sunday, November 2, 2025, 11:59 p.m.
Hatchie Baptist Church {11545 Powell Chapel Road, Hornsby, 38044} Fall Festival will be held from 4 p.m. tp 8 p.m. Come enjoy a fish fry with al the trimming at 5 p.m. and games for the children and a hayride.
Middleton Elementary School { 180 Robin Court, Middleton, 38052 } is holding a Harvest Festival from 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. There will be food, fun, games, a haunted house, a country store, and a silent, and at 5 p.m. a live auction will be held.
The Middleton High School {138 Florida Avenue, Middleton, 38052} Haunted School is being held in support of the Tigers baseball team at the batting cage building from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Admission is $10. Concessions with chili, hot dogs, nachos, and drinks will be sold.

Middleton Pentecostal Tabernacle {560 Neely Road, Middleton, 38075} is holding a Trunk or Treat from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Bolivar Health & Rehabilitation {formally Christian Care Center – 10160 US-64, Bolivar, 38008} is holding its first annual Fall Festival from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be food, fun, and games. Come out and enjoy time with the residents and staff.

Toone Baptist Church {20 Keller Street, Toone, 38381} is holding a Trunk or Treat from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

2nd Chance Furniture and More is holding Trick or Treat with candy and 30 percent off on purchases for everyone in costume from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
BBQ Lady {413 West Jackson Street, Bolivar, 38008} invites you to a Trick or Treat event from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be candy, food, best costume winner, and prizes.
First Baptist Church Bolivar { 826 West Market Street, Bolivar, 38008 } is holding a Trunk or Treat from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Food Giant Bolivar {200 North Main Street, Bolivar, 38008} is giving away candy from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. A special guest is scheduled to appear.
Hardeman County Chamber of Commerce {112 South Main Street, Bolivar, 38008} is holding a Chamber of Chills Business Trick or Treat from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There are more than 40 stops throughout Bolivar.
Pine Meadows Healthcare {700 Nuckolls Road, Bolivar, 38008} is holding its annual Trunk or Treat at 5 p.m.
Smokin’ Zo’s {12705 Highway 57 Middleton, 38052} is holding a Trunk or Treat at 5 p.m.
Parrans Chapel is hosting Shine with the Light of Jesus {225 James Road, Bolivar, 38008} from 5;30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
4th Annual Russell Road Community Trick or Treat {Russell Road, Bolivar, 38008} will be held from 6 p.m. until the candy runs out. Participating houses will have a balloon on their mailbox.
First Baptist Church of Middleton {525 North Main Street, Middleton, 38052} is holding AutumnFest at 6 p.m. There will be games, food, and candy.
Town of Whiteville will hold a Trunk or Treat on Main Street at 7 p.m.

Hornsby Elementary School {105 Church Street, Hornsby, 38044} is holding a Harvest Festival at 12 p.m. There will be games, food, bouncers, a hayride, and a live auction.
Trunk or Treat will be held in Grand Junction at the City Park from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
