Hardeman County Schools Donate During Loaves and Fishes Food Drive

Area schools participated in the annual Loaves and Fishes food drive in November to help restock the pantry, which serves families in need across Hardeman County. Loaves and Fishes partners each year with Hardeman County Schools for the food drive. Students are very instrumental in making the food drive a success each year with their effort in collecting items to be donated to the pantry.

Loaves and Fishes, a non-profit organization, provides Hardeman County families in need with food for short-term assistance. This year, the organization saw a larger number of boxes going out each month even before the lapse of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits in November 2025, which proves the need for ongoing support of the non-profit food pantry.

Loaves and Fishes accepts food and monetary donations and appreciates the regular contributions that come from the community. The list shown below is of some of the items used to fill the food boxes.

You may contact Loaves and Fishes at (731) 609-2397 to donate and learn how to receive assistance.
