Hardeman County Schools Recognizes 2025/2026 Teachers of the Year

Teachers from the nine area schools in Hardeman County were recognized as Teachers of the 2025/2026 School year at the February school board meeting, which was held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
The awards were presented to:
Debra Fuller of Bolivar Elementary School (BES)
Vickie Sellers of Bolivar Middle School (BMS)
Jordan Stack of Bolivar Central High School (BCHS)
Shelby Webster of Grand Junction Elementary School (GJES)
Rachel Ross of Hornsby Elementary School (HES)
Susie Kessler of Middleton Elementary School (MES)
Terry Mills of Middleton High School (MHS)
Shannon Rogers of Toone Elementary School (TES)
Cheryl Jones of Whiteville Elementary School (WES)
Each teacher was presented a certificate for their recognition by the principals of their schools.
Teachers of the Year are chosen by the staff from each school in Hardeman County. In order to be eligible for Teacher of the Year, a teacher must meet the following criteria:
- Be a full-time, certified, in good standing, Pre-k-12 teacher,
- Spend the majority of the school day in direct instruction to students,
- Have a minimum of three years of experience as a teacher in Tennessee public schools, and
- Be recognized as leaders within the community as well as in the school.
