Area Native Jaron Lockridge Prepares for Movie Premiere in Jackson

In 2016, Jaron officially created Misguided Perceptions Media Group, and through that company he has already completed several film projects. In the beginning, Jaron did everything behind the camera. He was the screenwriter, camera operator, and filled every other position required to make a movie. Being self-taught, Jaron has learned his skills through “trial by fire”. {read article}
Ky Kimmons Earn Masters Degree While Balancing Life

Ky Kimmons, who was known as Kyrayla Hunt while a student at BCHS, graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice in 2020. She returned to her alma mater and has been teaching English IV for the past four years. Ky has become a much-loved teacher at BCHS while working alongside some of the same people that taught her while she was a student at the school. {read article}

Bolivar’s Reece McMahan Heading to Carnegie Hall

Reece is looking forward to participating in the Honors Performance Series Music Program. He expects it to be a great experience that will nurture his musical interests and allow him to meet other talented musicians. Reece’s long term plans are to go to college and major in performance, study in music education, or earn a general music degree. Lady Tigers Volleyball Celebrates Seniors in Championship Season

The camaraderie of these ladies goes further than just being players on a team. They all have played together since middle school under the coaching of Zeke Craft. That time together has been a learning experience of skilled training on the court, acquiring a unique familiarity with how they play together as a team, and a forged friendship that will long be remembered after the last game they play this season, and well past graduation in May 2025. {read article}
