Community Health Center Celebrates New Women’s and Children’s Clinic

The facility is a little over 7,000 square feet and houses the women and children services and behavioral health services. As a part of an established healthcare facility under the umbrella of the Federally Qualified Health Centers, the clinic will provide more focused and managed care that includes “an integrated package of essential interventions and services delivered by a functioning health system”. {read article}


Big Squad Family Travel Basketball Teams Come Home Champions

Kaylee Pardue Graduates from Harding University with Masters

Originally published July 3, 2024.

Kaylee graduated from Bolivar Central High School (BCHS) in 2019, and from Murray State University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in communication disorders. She was able to graduate from Murray State in three years instead of four having taken dual enrollment classes while a student at BCHS and working diligently taking more classes during her college years. {read article}


Mayor Pulse Swears in County Winners From August Election

Mayor Todd Pulse swore in the newly elected and reelected Hardeman County Officials at the Hardeman County Courthouse in Bolivar. There were 3,399 ballots cast in the election and the results were certified by the Election Commission on Friday, August 16, 2024. {read article}


Gracie Doyle One Step Closer to Career Goal After Graduating From Freed-Hardeman University

Middleton’s Morgan Talley Signs to Become a Jackson State Community College Green Jay

Originally published July 18, 2024.

While an MHS Lady Tiger, Morgan Talley lead the Lady Tigers back to a district championship game for the first time since 2018. She averaged 9.8 points; 8.8 rebounds; and 2.0 steals per game. Morgan was also selected to the All-District 13-A team, 2024 BCAT All-star West team that was played in Murfreesboro on March 23, 2024, and the West Tennessee All-star game played at Trinity Christian on June 1, 2024. {read article}


Caitley Mott Earns High School Diploma and Pharmacy Certification

Caitley started working at Middleton Pharmacy in April applying the knowledge and skills she gained and took the exam two days before she graduated in May. She continued through the summer working at the pharmacy gaining more knowledge and skill in the field. {read article}

Not a Baby Anymore: Rico II Sain Commits to Lane College

Rico II loves making people jump out of their seats when he plays because of his explosiveness and high energy on defense, a position he loves playing. He is looking forward to time on the court during games and also playing well for his “support fans” that will be watching from the stands.
