Between now and November 30, 2025, any Hardeman County resident who has their dog or cat spayed or neutered at Old Hatchie Veterinary Clinic in Bolivar has a chance to win a $500 Visa gift card from the Hardeman Adoptable Animals.

Volunteer this week. There are several places in Hardeman County for you to lend a hand. Please let us know if any updates should be made to our volunteer/community service page.

The FAFSA is now open. If you have a student (or you) attending college post high school, be sure to complete the form.

Grand Junction Elementary School {750 Pledge Street, Grand Junction, 38039} will celebrate city veterans in its Veterans Program at 10 a.m. If you are a veteran and would like to attend, please call the school (731) 764-2841. Parents are invited to attend.

Computer Class will be held at the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library {213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008} from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The Bolivar-Hardeman County Library {213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008} is holding the Brown Bag Book Club at 12 p.m.

Hornsby Elementary School Bulldogs basketball plays at home against Whiteville Elementary School at 5 p.m.

Whiteville Elementary School Lions basketball plays away against Hornsby Elementary School at 5 p.m.

Bolivar Middle School Tigers basketball plays in a district game away against Middleton Middle School at 5:30 p.m.

Government offices are closed in observance of Veterans Day.

The Quinco Mental Health Center Mobile Unit will be at the Old Fred’s Parking Lot from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Provided services include on-site counseling services as well as wrap around care coordination services. Learn more about the free services it will offer.

Parrans Chapel Baptist Church {9400 Old Highway 64, Bolivar, 38008} will serve a free hot meal at 5:30 p.m.

TWRA Application Period for Late Season, Youth Military Hunts opens and closes Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

Computer Class will be held at the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library {213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008} from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The West Tennessee Healthcare Satellite Clinic will stop at the Tractor Supply Co. and Dollar Tree parking lot {1361 West Market Street, Bolivar, 38008} from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. It offers free primary care, behavioral health, and substance use treatment services. Walk-ins are accepted or you may call (731) 541-1600 to make an appointment.

The annual Hardeman County Veterans Program will be held at the Bolivar Municipal Center at 10 a.m. All veterans and their families are invited to attend. Learn more about the event.

Cardio Drumming will be held at the Middleton Community Library {110 Bolton Avenue, Middleton, 38052} at 11 a.m. Please bring your own exercise (yoga) ball, drumsticks, and bucket.

Women on Wisdom presents Drum Dancing at the Middleton Community Library {110 Bolton Avenue, Middleton, 38052} at 11:30 a.m. Please bring your own exercise ball, drumsticks, and bucket, which are also used in the Cardio Drumming class.

Senior Spark will be held at the Middleton Community Library {110 Bolton Avenue, Middleton, 38052} at 12 p.m.

Adult Book Club will be held at the Middleton Community Library {110 Bolton Avenue, Middleton, 38052} at 1 p.m. The book pick this month is The Paris Library by Janet Skeslien Charles. Copies may be checked out at the library.

Christmas at the Crossroads will be held at the Middleton Community Center from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
