Hatchie Press Weekend Planner: April 21 – 23
Bolivar Academy of Cycling will hold a Community Bike Ride and Walk on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the Bolivar City Park featuring bike safety classes, fun, food, and giveaways.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie (RATED PG) is showing at the historic Luez Theater! Showtimes are Friday, April 21, 2023, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. The box office opens one hour prior to showtime for ticket sales.
For the first time, the iconic global entertainment brands Illumination and Nintendo join forces to create The Super Mario Bros. Movie, a new, big-screen adventure starring one of pop culture’s most prominent plumbers of the past four decades. Based on the world of Nintendo’s Mario games, the film invites audiences into a vibrant, thrilling new universe unlike any created before in an action-packed, exuberant cinematic comedy event.

The Ruritan’s will hold their Annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the John Wilder Community Center in Grand Junction. Proceeds will go to the Grand Junction High School Memorial Park. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door.
