Drums Alive classes return to the Middleton Community Library {110 Bolton Avenue, Middleton, 38052} for a five-class series at 11 a.m. A $20 registration fee applies and you must be registered to attend.

The Grand Junction Library is open form 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The Bolivar-Hardeman County Library { 213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008 } is holding Film Club Friday at 3:30 p.m. Attendees will watch a movie and discuss its strengths and weaknesses with the group.
Meet the Tigers will be held on the Bolivar Central High School *BCHS) at 5:30 p.m. Come out and meet the Bolivar Middle School, BCHS, Middleton High School Tigers football teams
Take in a movie at the Luez Theater {219 North Main Street, Bolivar, 38008} where Freakier Friday is showing on the big screen at 7 p.m. Synopsis: ““Freakier Friday,” a sequel to the beloved 2003 film with a multigenerational twist starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, will be released in theaters nationwide in 2025. In the film, Curtis and Lohan reprise their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman. The story picks up years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endured an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.“
Music on the Square happens on the Courthouse Square and features Sparky Sparks opening at 7 p.m. for Mike and the Classics, which takes the stage at 8 p.m.

Bolivar Farmers Market {110 Lafayette Street, Bolivar 38008} is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Grand Junction Farmers Market {216 Highway 57, Grand Junction, 38039} is open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
FEMA Disaster Recovery Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The City of Grand Junction will hold an auction at City Hall {226 Highway 57 East, Grand Junction, Tennessee 38039} on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 10 a.m. of several vehicles, which include a Ford F150 4×4, Fire Truck, and a Toro Zero Turn Mower. All will be sold as is.
The Bolivar-Hardeman County Library {213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008} has new Saturday hours, which are now 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Right to Heal Survivors Speak program will be held at 112 Madison Avenue, Grand Junction, 38039, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch will be provided and $50 gift cards will be given away.
The Friends of the Hardeman County Adoptable Animals is holding its Denim & Diamonds Fundraiser Robin’s Nest Event Venue at 6 p.m. Although tickets are sold out, you can still support the HAA organization.
