Middleton High School basketball Tigers and Lady Tigers play at home against the Humboldt High School Vikings at 6 p.m. See the schedule.
Bolivar Central High School basketball Tigers and Lady Tigers play away against the Bolton High School Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. See the schedule.
Take in a movie at the Luez Theater { 219 North Main Street, Bolivar, 38008 } where Mufasa: The Lion King is being shown on the big screen at 7 p.m. Synopsis: Exploring the unlikely rise of the beloved king of the Pride Lands, “Mufasa: The Lion King” enlists Rafiki to relay the legend of Mufasa to young lion cub Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, with Timon and Pumbaa lending their signature schtick. Told in flashbacks, the story introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka—the heir to a royal bloodline. The chance meeting sets in motion an expansive journey of an extraordinary group of misfits searching for their destiny—their bonds will be tested as they work together to evade a threatening and deadly foe.

Hardeman County EMS will be at the Whiteville Community Center { 151 West Main Street, Whiteville, 38075 } providing free blood pressure checks from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Citizens are being asked to complete surveys, so the department can apply for a grant, which will help purchase a new ambulance and much needed equipment.
Middleton High School will recognize the 2015 Girls State Championship title team in between the Lady Tigers and Tigers basketball games, which starts at 3 p.m.
Take in a movie at the Luez Theater { 219 North Main Street, Bolivar, 38008 } where Mufasa: The Lion King is being shown on the big screen at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
