Southwest HRA is providing free meals to the children of Hardeman County this summer. Find out where and the times.

The West Tennessee Healthcare Satellite Clinic will be at the parking lot of Food Rite { 16240 U.S. Highway 64, Somerville 38068 } from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. It offers free primary care, behavioral health, and substance use treatment services.

Film Club Friday is being offered at the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library { 213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008 } from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Enjoy free popcorn and watch the featured movie, Back to the Future.

Trinity Baptist Church is holding Vacation Bible School in “Alaska” with a theme of “Trust Jesus in a Wild World”, which will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Register your child to attend. See more Vacation Bible School 2025.

Take in a movie at the Luez Theater { 219 North Main Street, Bolivar, 38008 } where Superman is showing on the big screen at 7 p.m. Synopsis: “Superman,” DC Studios’ first feature film to hit the big screen, is set to soar into theaters worldwide this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures. In his signature style, James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humor and heart, delivering a Superman who’s driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind.”

Music on the Square, which happens on the Courthouse Square and features Lakelin Lemmings opening at 7 p.m. for Stillwater, which takes the stage at 8 p.m.

SATURDAY, JULY 19, 2025
Bolivar Farmers Market {110 Lafayette Street, Bolivar 38008} is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Grand Junction Farmers Market {216 Highway 57, Grand Junction, 38039} is open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Trinity Baptist Church is holding Vacation Bible School in “Alaska: with a theme of “Trust Jesus in a Wild World”, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch will be provided. Register your child to attend.

Bolivar Tigers 13U baseball tryouts will be held on the Bolivar Central High School baseball field at 10 a.m. All interested players must complete the registration form.

Mayor Julian McTizic is hosting a Back to School Supply Drive at the Hardeman County Courthouse Square {100 North Main Street, Bolivar, 38008} at 10 a.m.

The Bolivar-Hardeman County Library {213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008} has new Saturday hours, which are now 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Meet the Authors with Cheryl Billion (Forgiving is a Choice) and Carol Maynard (Remnants) will be held at Carriage House Coffee {107 West Market Street, Bolivar, 38008} from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Take in a movie at the Luez Theater { 219 North Main Street, Bolivar, 38008 } where Superman is showing on the big screen at 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Have fun at the Hardeman County Arts Center {1580 West Market Street, Bolivar, 38008} at Improv Night. It will be a night of creative fun where everyone can join in the action! You will be given prompts and scenarios, and you create the story. Or, you can just sit and watch it all unfold into a hilarious stage performance. Be careful! They just might pull you in on the fun anyway! Admission is $5. Please register online, but you may also pay at the door.
