Southwest HRA is providing free meals to the children of Hardeman County this summer. Find out where and the times.
The West Tennessee Healthcare Satellite Clinic will be at the parking lot of Food Rite { 16240 U.S. Highway 64, Somerville 38068 } from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. It offers free primary care, behavioral health, and substance use treatment services.
The Roaring 20s Book Club is meeting at the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library {213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008} at 10 a.m. If you are a fan of the Roaring 20s, this is the club for you! Engage in conversation about the nuance in books from classics to BookTok favorites! Refreshments will be served.
Mount Moriah Baptist Church will hold “Wonder Junction” – Marvel at Jesus, Live for His Glory, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for children, ages four through 12 years old. Learn more about the VBS.
Take in a movie at the Luez Theater { 219 North Main Street, Bolivar, 38008 } where How to Train Your Dragon is showing on the big screen at 7 p.m. Synopsis: “On the rugged isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been bitter enemies for generations, Hiccup (Mason Thames; The Black Phone, For All Mankind) stands apart. The inventive yet overlooked son of Chief Stoick the Vast (Gerard Butler, reprising his voice role from the animated franchise), Hiccup defies centuries of tradition when he befriends Toothless, a feared Night Fury dragon. Music on the Square, which happens on the Courthouse Square starts with Sparky Sparks opening at 7 p.m. for Lisa Lambert, who takes the stage at 8 p.m.

Bolivar Farmers Market {110 Lafayette Street, Bolivar 38008} is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Grand Junction Farmers Market {216 Highway 57, Grand Junction, 38039} is open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The Bolivar-Hardeman County Library {213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008} has new Saturday hours, which are now 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Mindful Banking – Navigating Alzheimer’s Care and Financial Wellness, a session intended to educate, encourage, and empower attendees on Alzheimer’s Awareness will be held at Carriage House Coffee {107 West Market Street, Bolivar 38008} at 10 a.m. Guest speakers include Melissa McTizic, Sharron Murden, and Sara Skinner.
Youth Villages Foster Care webinar will be held at 10 a.m. CST. Learn how you can make a difference.
The Hardeman County Commission for Black History presents the 27th Annual Juneteenth Celebration. The parade starts at 3 p.m. from Uptown to Civic Park. Come out and enjoy the afternoon of fun, which includes a water slide, canvas painting, train ride, games, prizes and giveaways, television and gift card raffles, and more. All activities are free.

SUNDAY, JUNE 22, 2025
The SO Harvest Institute {390 Railroad Street, Bolivar 38008} is hosting Soul Food Sunday, a fundraiser, at 1 p.m. Come enjoy mouthwatering soul food while supporting the non-profit. Every bite supports a great cause, bringing the community together for an afternoon of fellowship and good food. Plates are $15 and include one meat, two sides, one dessert, and a drink.
