If your child will use the Tennessee Promise scholarship in the spring as a new or returning student, they can volunteer at one or more of those locations to satisfy the community service hour requirement. Don’t wait until the last minute. Tennessee Promise hours for spring 2025 students must be completed by Monday, December 2, 2024.

The annual Whiteville Main Street Music Festival will be held in Downtown Whiteville from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. It is a day and evening full of a variety of music performers, food and product vendors, and community fun. Bring the family out for an enjoyable time. The winners of the student art contest will be announced.

Area Native Jaron Lockridge Prepares for Movie Premiere of “Cubic Zirconia” in Jackson that will be shown at 4 p.m. Tickets are available now online and will not be sold at the door.
