Hornsby Swears in New Mayor and Aldermen

On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, the Town of Hornsby swore in new leadership, which included five aldermen and a mayor. Mayor Pat Plunk and Aldermen Hunter Brewer, Linda Sue Crouse, Darrell Grantham, Heather Jo Moore, and Johnny Moore were elected by the citizens of Hornsby in November to manage the town. The Mayor and Aldermen served over their first Town of Hornsby meeting in their new positions on Tuesday.

Heather Jo Moore was appointed as an alderman in May 2023, when then current Town of Hornsby Alderman Curtis Vandiver was appointed as Mayor of Hornsby to fill the remainder of Mayor Megan Hedwall’s term after she suddenly resigned in March 2023.

Prior to the November 2024 election, Mayor Curtis Vandiver, and Aldermen Melissa Hodge, Wayne Isbell, Heather Jo Moore, Pat Plunk, and Greg Vance, served. Ms. Hodge, Mr. Isbell, and Mr. Vance chose not to run again.
