HRAYS Begins Soccer Season with Funday Activities
Children of all ages covered the Middleton soccer fields on the evening of Friday, August 4, 2023, for the Hatchie River Area Youth Soccer (HRAYS) league’s Funday. The event was held to kick off the HRAYS 2023 season that begins on Monday, September 11, 2023.
The HRAYS organization has offered recreational soccer to youth in Hardeman County and its surrounding areas for more than 20 years. Children and teens participated in several activities at Funday that included skills training, field conduct and etiquette, and scrimmages. An information meeting was held in between field play with HRAYS President Austin Bell sharing more about the league, the upcoming season, and how parents could register their children to participate. At the end of the evening, close to 100 children from ages four to high school were registered to participate in the 2023 season.
Registration for the 2023 soccer season will remain open through Thursday, August 17, 2023. Registration forms may be picked up at Centennial Bank, 294 South Main Street in Middleton, or you may contact the HRAYS league at hraysleague@gmail.com to have forms e-mailed to you. Completed forms may be returned to Centennial Bank.

Upcoming HRAYS dates:
Coaches Meeting – Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Centennial Bank – Middleton, at 6:30 p.m. Please attend the meeting if you would like to coach a team.
2023 Season begins – Monday, September 11, 2023. A season schedule will be available before this date.
HRAYS Spaghetti Dinner – Friday, September 29, 2023. Tickets may be purchased at Centennial Bank, and will be available at the soccer fields during the games.
